RDP HarborCompare plans

Questions, answered plainly

What this site does, what it does not do, and what happens between clicking a plan and getting a server.

How this site works

Does RDP Harbor host the servers?

No. We are an independent storefront that compares plans from hosting partners. When you order, you are taken to the partner's own website, where you create the account, pay and receive the server.

The partner is the provider: they own the hardware, deliver the machine, bill you and support it. We earn a commission on the referral, at no extra cost to you.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong with the server?

The partner. Your contract is with them, and they are the only party that can restart, rebuild or refund a machine. Each plan links to the partner's site, and their support is available from the account you create there.

We do not have access to partner accounts or servers and cannot act on your behalf.

Are the prices on this site the prices I will pay?

They are the partner's advertised monthly prices at the time we last checked, shown against each plan with the check date on the page. Partners can change prices or stock without telling us, so confirm the amount on the partner's own order page before paying.

If you see a difference, it is the partner's page that applies.

Why do prices appear in two currencies?

Because the partners bill in their own currency: rdp.monster in US dollars and RDP.sh in euros. We do not convert between them, because a converted figure would be wrong the moment the exchange rate moves.

Ordering and paying

Can I pay with cryptocurrency?

Yes, at both partners listed on this site. rdp.monster accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin and Monero alongside cards and PayPal; RDP.sh accepts card or crypto through Cryptomus.

Payment happens on the partner's site, not here. We never see or store your payment details.

Do I need to verify my identity?

At rdp.monster, a crypto order needs an email address and nothing more; there is no KYC or ID check. RDP.sh asks for an account and may apply its own checks, which are set out in its terms.

Anonymity at the host is not permission to break the rules: every provider's acceptable-use policy applies to your server.

How fast is delivery?

rdp.monster advertises delivery in about ten seconds and RDP.sh in under five minutes, once payment clears. Crypto payments wait for network confirmations, which can add minutes depending on the coin and the fee you set.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are decided by the partner under their own terms, not by us. Read the partner's refund and cancellation terms before you pay, and raise any request through their support.

The servers themselves

What is the difference between RDP and a VPS?

Both are virtual machines. An RDP plan is a Windows Server machine you connect to with a graphical desktop and administrator rights. A VPS is usually Linux, reached over SSH and used to run services rather than a visible desktop.

Our guide on choosing between them covers the practical differences.

Do I get administrator or root access?

Yes on every plan listed. Windows plans give full administrator access; Linux options give root. You can install software, change settings and reinstall the operating system from the partner's panel.

How many people can use one RDP server at once?

These are single-user Windows Server licences, not multi-session terminal server licences. One person connects at a time. If several people need simultaneous desktops, ask the partner about a multi-user licence before ordering.

Can I host a website on a Windows RDP plan?

You can install a web server on it, but a Windows desktop licence is an expensive way to host a site. A Linux VPS is cheaper for the same resources and better suited to web hosting.

Is the bandwidth really unmetered?

Both partners describe their plans as 1 Gbps with unmetered transfer. Fair-use limits still apply: a server that saturates the port continuously or attracts abuse complaints can be throttled or suspended under the partner's policy.

Trust and disclosure

How does RDP Harbor make money?

Commission from the hosting partners when someone orders through our links. The rate varies by partner and volume, and it does not change the price you pay.

Our affiliate disclosure page sets out the arrangement in full.

Does commission affect which plans you show?

We list only partners we have checked ourselves and would be willing to use, and we show the commission rate so you can judge the incentive. If a partner's offer stops being competitive, it comes off the site rather than being promoted harder.

Do you collect my data?

This site is static and sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts. We do not receive your name, email or payment details when you click through to a partner.

The partner's own privacy policy applies from the moment you arrive on their site.
